Peanut butter apple pie bars.
The delicious smell of this recipe will occupy your house when making.
Makes About 9 Servings.
1 1/2 cups almond flour.
1 cup oat flour
2 tbsp ground cinnamon.
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 large egg, room temperature
1/4 cup unrefined melted coconut oil.
1/3 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup.
1 1/4 cup apple sauce.
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup golden raisins.
1/4 cup natural creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut butter
1/4 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey.
1 tsp vanilla extract.
A pinch of sea salt.

Preheat your oven to 350 F, line an 8×10 rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine all dry ingredients, in another bowl, add all wet ingredients and whisk until thoroughly combined.
Pour the wet over dry ingredients and whisk to combine everything.
Add in any extra if desired (dried fruits and chopped nuts of choice), use a silicone spatula, stir to incorporate into the batter.
Scoop your batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Place into the oven and bake for 33-35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cooling on a wire rack while making your frosting.
In a food processor add the peanut butter, coconut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt and then pulse a few times until smooth.
Evenly and gently spread your creamy peanut butter frosting over your cooled apple bars.
Slice into bars and serve.
Store any leftovers in your fridge in an air-tight container for about 5-6 days.
